Welcome To The Future In New ‘Blade Runner 2049’ International Trailer/Extended TV Spot

Sony Pictures

As highly-anticipated as Blade Runner 2049 may be amongst the film community, being one of the most expensive R-rated films ever means the powers that be need to do whatever they can to get people to see it. Which is precisely why Sony has today launched what’s essentially the fourth trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s sequel – billed as ‘International TV Spot 1’ and showing in UK cinemas, the piece is chock-full of stunning brand new footage. Check it out below:

It’s likely Warner Bros. may release one more theatrical trailer for the film in the next couple of weeks to go in front of It, if they do – we’ll be sure to have all the information here.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Starring Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto, Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049 arrives in U.S. and UK cinemas October 6, 2017.
