CONFIRMED: First Trailer For 'An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power' Tuesday

We don’t tend to feature documentaries on this site, but this is too notable not to miss. The conveniently-titled An Inconvenient Sequel, the follow-up to David Guggenheim and Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth premiered at Sundance earlier this year; and now in advance of its release in August, Paramount are about to launch the documentary’s first trailer. Alberta Film Ratings have classified it earlier today, and we expect it to arrive online in the coming weeks. As always, we’ll be sure to have the trailer when it arrives online – as well as any other info in the lead up to its release.

Former Vice President Al Gore continues his tireless fight, traveling around the world to train an army of activists and influence international climate policy. Cameras follow him behind the scenes — in moments both private and public, funny and poignant — as he pursues the inspirational idea that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.
An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power is released in the U.S. on July 28, and in the UK on August 25. See a clip from the film below:
