One trailer that we keep getting asked about very often is for Andrés Muschietti’s adaptation of Stephen King’s It. Well, good news is – the first teaser trailer is on the way, with Warner Bros and New Line showing off a work-in-progress cut at their ‘Face Your Fears’ panel at SXSW yesterday; alongside new clips from It as well as Annabelle 2. Check out some of the Twitter reactions to the teaser below:

A derailed description is also up at Bloody Disgusting, read at your own risk…

Given the teaser is still in WIP form, it’s hard to pinpoint when it’d be coming, but we would suspect it isn’t far off given the film’s September release. As always, we will be sure to update when the trailer has been rated by classification boards and/or sent to cinemas – giving us a heads up on the impending release…

A group of seven children in the town of Derry, Maine are considered misfits and form a group called the “Losers Club.” They soon come to realize that they’ve all had encounters with a demonic entity that appears in various forms, but primarily in the shape of a clown. Not knowing what to call the entity, they refer to it as “It” and believe It is responsible for the recent murders of a number of children in their town.

Starring Bill Skarsgård, Megan Charpentier, Nicholas Hamilton, Jaeden Lieberher, Owen Teague and Finn Wolfhard, It is released in the UK and U.S. on September 8.
