The wait is nearly over – just as tickets go on sale across the UK, 20th Century Fox have dropped the long-awaited final trailer for Logan. James Mangold’s swan song for Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine has its first press screenings in just over two weeks time ahead of the world premiere at the Berlinale. Watch the nail-biting and emotional final look below (now updated with, like the first trailer, both U.S. ‘green band’ and UK/international ‘red band’ versions):
Fox announced the trailer back at the end of December with a giveaway of 1,974 postcards featuring frames of footage from this trailer. We are still collecting them over on Reddit, with the aim of eventually putting them together as a version of the trailer. If you’ve received a postcard, scan it and post in our /r/1974FramesofLogan subreddit!
In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
Starring Hugh Jackman in his final appearance as Wolverine, and joined by Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen, Logan arrives in UK cinemas March 1, followed by the U.S. on March 3.
