UPDATE: Gore Verbinski Takes Us To The Alps In New 'A Cure For Wellness' Trailers

UPDATE (24 Dec): It’s been going up and down the web since it first surfaced following the Fox Showcase presentations a few weeks ago, but it seems like it’s back for now. Check out the (what is officially known as the) Brazil Comic-Con trailer for Gore Verbinski’s A Cure For Wellness, alongside the U.S. trailer revealed earlier this week and a chilling Korean teaser:

The film had its first full screening at the Butt Numb-A-Thon in Austin, TX, and reactions so far have been positive. Verbinski said at the Fox Showcase that he hopes to do for wellness centres ‘what Jaws did for beaches’, and if this trailer is to go by, it seems he’s definitely got something special in store for us.

An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious “wellness center” at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem. When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure.

Starring Dane DeHaan, Mia Goth and Jason Isaacs, A Cure for Wellness arrives in U.S. theatres on February 17, and in the UK on March 24.
