Fox dropped a chilling teaser for Gore Verbinski’s A Cure For Wellness back in October, and quite frankly it’s so well made and showed so much and gave so little away that we really don’t need another trailer. Alas, the studio still needs to market it to those of us who are not film fans, so there’s a brand new trailer coming, which the Manitoba Film Classification Board rated yesterday.
The runtime of the trailer is currently unknown but we are assuming it’ll be the standard 2 minutes, 30 seconds. We will update if and when we receive more information, and we expect the trailer to arrive online later this month. Perhaps not in time for Rogue One, but maybe Assassin’s Creed?
An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious “wellness center” at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem. When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure.
Starring Dane DeHaan, Mia Goth and Jason Isaacs, A Cure for Wellness arrives in U.S. theatres on February 17, and in the UK on March 24. See the brilliant teaser trailer below:
