It’s currently unknown whether the trailer will make it to UK showings of the film, but we will let you know if we hear anything.

Finally is all we can say. Consumer Protection BC have rated the first trailer for Martin Scorsese’s long-in-the-making epic Silence. And with a runtime of over two minutes, it does sound quite more substantial than the short sub-minute teaser shown off at a Paramount press event last month.

We expect it to arrive next week in time for the release of Robert Zemeckis’s Allied – also a Paramount release. We will let you know once we get more info on this.

The long-awaited film, starring Andrew Garfield, Liam Neeson and Adam Driver, is in limited release in the U.S. on December 23, with a wide release in January. The UK gets the film on January 1, 2017.
