Jake Gyllenhaal Leads The ISS Crew In First Trailers For 'Life'


This film really snuck up on us almost out of nowhere – Sony Pictures have debuted the first trailer for Daniel Espinosa’s Life during The Walking Dead last night, seems like AMC’s bloodthirsty show is proving to be a popular battleground for trailer launches… The sci-fi thriller stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson and Ryan Reynolds as International Space Station crew members who find the first sample of biological life from beyond Earth – which begs the question: what could possibly go wrong? The two trailers – domestic and international – tease some of what does; take a look below.

Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.

Written by Deadpool scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, and also starring Olga Dihovichnaya, Ariyon Bakare and Hiroyuki Sanada, Life is released May 24, 2017.
