Tom Hanks Heads Into 'Inferno' In Brand New Extended UK Trailer

The next instalment in Ron Howard/Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon adaptation series, Inferno, was released internationally last weekend with a $50 million opening. To mark the UK release, Sony Pictures have debuted an exclusive extended trailer on Sky Cinema, featuring previously unreleased footage – including an extended peek at the opening sequence of the film featuring Ben Foster’s villain, Bertrand Zobrist. Take a look below:

Academy Award® winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown’s (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno, which finds the famous symbologist (again played by Tom Hanks) on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to foil a deadly global plot.

Inferno is out now in the UK and other major international markets, and is released in the United States on October 28.
